How do I set up and implement custom field for Paypal Pro

Postby davidpayne » July 12th, 2011, 8:27 am

Hey guys,

I just installed s2member Pro and I'm trying to get everything configured. I'm looking at the "Quick-Start Guide for PayPal Pro" right now and it's telling me I need to add the Custom Field "s2member_force_ssL = yes" to any page where I want things converted to https://. My problem? I've never set up a Custom Field before.

I've gone to the page where I want to do this and I see the Custom Fields area. Now three questions:
1. What do I put in for "Name?"
2. What do I put in for "Value?"
3. What do I put in the actual page afterwards to implement the Custom Field?

Sorry for being so naive. Thanks for your help in advance!

It's not complicated. In the page editor you should have a box that's titled Custom Fields. If you don't see below the editor box, click on the tab that says Screen Options in the top-right corner and check the box for Custom Fields. Now create a new field, name it s2member_force_ssl and type yes for the value. Click the Add Custom Field button and you're done.

I hope that helps. :)
