Subscription Options

Hello!

The s2member plug in has been a great so far for me as it seems easy to use - however I ran into a snag and I am not sure how to resolve it. I am new to coding and not very good at it, but I am familiar with code and I think that is where the answer lies, but could use some help. I apologize if this is already in the forum, I searched this afternoon and didn't find anything to answer the questions, so here goes:

I have a membership web site i am launching for a non profit. I want to have the membership have the option to pay the yearly dues in 1 yearly payment or have 2 other options

So
A. 100.00 yearly membership annually
B. Monthly subscription of 8.33
c. Monthly Subscription + $2 monthly donation (10.33)

But the membership level is broken up into 4 levels based on income. We are non-profit and they have it set up like >75K a year income = 100.00 membership dues, 50-75 = 75.00 membership dues etc...

So If I offer 3 options for each level that's 12 options for subscription! which is fine, but How do i accomplish that?

The Paypal button generator give me 9 options - I am not sure how to expand that to the 12 I need - or how to get a custom button generated in paypal to work with s2member??

This is where my issue lies - If I just missed some instructions somewhere, please point me in the right direction! How do I get the paypal generated button to work with the s2member?

Is there a better way to do this? I don't see a way through it preserving the 3 options for each income level under 1 membership level. They will have access to the same content so different membership levels seems just as wonky! LOL And I already have different levels as there is a student level, a voting membership level and a non voting membership level.

Any help would be very, very appreciated.

Although this is possible, I suggest using the s2Member Button Generator. That is what it's designed for. It saves you the trouble of generating a PayPal Button inside the PayPal interface, and then having to integrate it with your site's functionality. Instead, you just use the s2Member Button Generator; it generates a Button Code that is ready-to-go in every way.

I'm not sure that I "completely" understand.
But let me take a stab at this anyway. Please correct me if I have something wrong.

So. A, B, and C will all have access to the same content,
they are just paying different prices,
- and possibly on a payment plan, rather than a lump sum.

A. 100.00 yearly membership annually

c. Monthly Subscription + $2 monthly donation (10.33)

These different prices/plans are all based on income level, but the end result will always be access to a site with the same content.

So, here is how I would handle this:

1. Use ONLY Membership Level #1, that's it. - Just ONE Level.
2. Create multiple PayPal Buttons for Level #1, all at the different prices/plans that you need. You can do this with s2Member's Button Generator. See: s2Member -> PayPal Buttons. Just keep a notepad file temporarily and paste all of the Shortcodes that s2Member generates into it as you create them.

Now that you have Button Codes for each pricing option, you could build another form into your site that asks for income range first, and then produces the proper Button Code, based on their selection.

Or you could create a separate signup page for each different Level, having one of the 12 Button Codes in each Post/Page. In that case, you would create one main Membership Options Page, with a link that points to each different signup page. Each signup page would have a different Button Code, based on the income selection.

The end result is that s2Member grants access to the same thing for every purchase. The only difference is how much the Customer pays, and the payment plan they're on. All of this is configured through a Button Code, and can be adjusted independently from the actual Membership Level that provides access.

Rather than PM Robyn directly, I'll post here so that others can benefit.

I also am running an Association membership page. You note that you have voting and non-voting members. I wonder if you are running voting through WordPress, and if so, what you are using. There are myriad "poll" type plugins, but I really need something that is tuned to *voting*--that is, one-member, one-vote--for things like elections.
