existing email addresses / membership

Hi.
Am just installing the s2Member plugin and going through the procedure nice and slow. Going well so far.

I have 1000 email addresses that I have uploaded to a new mailchimp account. These are my current subscribers.

But of course, none of these people have joined my site as members and so do not have a user name or password (to log in to what will be a new and updated membership-only website).

Short of asking them to visit the site to start over, is there a way to email them details of the new site along with a unique user name and password for level 0 membership access?

Hi Harty.

You can import them using s2Member Pro's Import tool. WP Admin -> s2Member -> Import/Export -> User/Member Import Files

These two posts will help you understand how the password part would work:

And you'll want to integrate s2Member with MailChimp to add new users to your list. WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / List Servers -> MailChimp

Will it be an issue that I have already uploaded my email addresses to mailchimp and linked s2member with my mailchimp account?
