Expired links

Postby yifatcohen » May 19th, 2011, 9:10 am

A new member (Harvey) cannot log in to the Club. When he tries the U & P sent to him by the system, or when I try it, he can’t access the members stuff. (I don’t want to lose members)

Harvey actually joined 4 days ago. Today he tried to use a link in his email from 4 days ago to complete Club registration. It had expired. So I had to cancel his membership, and he joined all over again. Did that cause the login bug he has now? Can we set that link to never expire?

I've been all over the menu and I can't find the place to control the expiration date of the links. Can you point me to it?

Thank you for your assistance,

Hi Yifat. :)

You can modify the link expiration following the tip here viewtopic.php?f=4&p=12982#p12982

Or you can generate a new link for the person to register using this WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Buttons -> Member Registration Access Links

Is s2Member working for you? Please rate it Image at WordPress.org. Thanks! :)

Also, keep in mind you can simply add the person manually via Add a member. You don't have to cancel the original membership and have them register again. - Ryan
