Offer discount to level 1 membership but for limited time

Hi
I'd like to offer all our new free members a discount on level 1 membership but make the offer only valid for 1 month and then it automatically expires.

Is this possible with the s2 plugin?

If you mean the offer is valid for a month from now, coupon codes in s2Member Pro let you set an expiration date. If you mean the first month they page, regardless of when they upgrade to Level 1, then you can use the initial period in your button, set it to a month at the discounted price.

Thanks Cristian for the quick reply, but not quite sure what you mean with your second suggestion.

Are you saying I could put an end date on the Paypal button and after that date if a member clicked on the button it will not work?

No, the second suggestion was to give the first month at the discounted rate and charge the normal rate from the second month on. But I suggested that because I wasn't sure if you meant the first month of membership.

If you you meant this month only, then the coupon would be the way to go. Or, use a normal button and when you want to change the price, change it manually editing the shortcode or generating a new one.

Thanks for the advice Cristian I may go down the coupon route as you suggest, need to give it some more thought though.
