Hide the password

Here's what the members sees at the moment in the email confirmation from wordpress. I'm not talking about paypal but simply a registration form on my website. Can we not see asterix instead of the password in order to hide the password ?

Identifiant : le meilleur
Mot de passe : thepassword
http://www.my-site.com/wordpress/wp-login.php
