How do I give (free) members the capability to add a listing

Hello!

Let me start by saying that I love s2member! And I need your help!

My question is: how do I give (free) members the capability to add a free listing as a post. The (free) members should be able to add as many free listings as they want and edit their own listings later, if need be.

What I’ve done so far:

- via “User Role Editor”, I created a User Role called Member and assigned the Contributor role/permissions (so they can add & edit their own posts, upload pictures, etc).

- In s2member:

1. I created the following pages:
a. Login Welcome Page
b. My Profile
c. Add Listing (this is my problem!! How do I link this page to the "add new post" editor? Or is there a custom capability I have to add to make the editor show on this page?)
d. Membership Options

2. Allowed Free registration
3. My Membership Options are set to: Free Member (level 0) and Featured Member (level 1).

Any help with the code would be wonderful as I am not very good at this but I follow instructions very well.

You'd need to edit the Subscriber role (free member, s2Member level 0) to have the capabilities needed for what you want them to do.

My question is similar. Is there a way to allow a paid member to post to my site- include images, text, select a post category - for a determined amount of time say 5,10, or 30 days?
Pay-per-Post as opposed to pay to view a post?
5 days would cost $X amount
10 days would cost $X amount
30 days would cost $X amount and so on.

I have not been able to find anything like this feature?

Hi Glenn.

Well, my answer would be the same as above, with the addition of combining that with Category Access Restrictions and Automatic EOT Behavior.

WP Admin -> s2Member -> Restriction Options -> Category Access Restrictions
WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Options -> Automatic EOT Behavior
