scary: s2member vanished!

I updated yesterday s2member via the built in WP updating system.
Today I return to my site, and to my big surprise S@member just isnt there anymore, It did not happen right after the update, it was sure there yesterday a few hours later.

I dont see it in the plugin area, and protected pages are accessible to everybody. Has such a thing happned before? how is it possible?

I run the latest version of WP, other plugins are intact.

That is really weird, I had never heard of someone had this problem.

Did you check via FTP if the directory is still there? You may want to re-install it, this guide may help viewtopic.php?f=36&t=247

I already installed again, luckily it remembered the old settings.
Its very strange though.

I'm glad you solved it. Yes, it was strange. Good thing you had Deactivation Safeguards enabled so it rememberd the settings.
