Adding paid members manually without payment

I need to add members to a new site as Level 1 paid members, but without them actually paying for the access. I would like to add them manually and give them Level 1 access.

Is that possible without a paypal code or IP address? If so, how would I add them?

I have done it once. You add the user as you would add in WP (or maybe the user is already registerd but not paying). Then you edit the profile and at the top you change the Role to Level1 (you have various levels there) and at the bottom, you can edit the custom capabilities if you have any.

I do not know, however, if the access is supposed to be for a fixed period, how to manage it. Cristian will probably chime in to clarify that.

You can set an EOT time if needed, there's a field for that in the last part of the profile edit form.
