Declined card but still able to download products?

Hi,
We are using the most current version of S2member Pro - A member recently was terminated and upon discussion with authorize,it was because her card was declined on the first subscription attempt. I didn't recognize this, because it said one complete payment, under her info in the rebill section, but when you click on it the info is:

1 3693994769 s2-1305906809 Declined 6/20/2011 3:37:13 AM

However, she was able to download the first two products anyway, which she confirmed this am. I'm not understanding what happened? Shouldn't a declined card not have access? What should I do to fix this in the membership?

Ok I have an update, it seems she was not able to download the second set of products. Her card charged once and those were the products she downloaded. Sorry for the post, it seems all is well and working the right way.
