Send email to imported members

Hi,
I'm a new user of s2Member Pro.

I intend to begin with free membership only. But I need to approve or authorize members since this is a private school.

Here's what I want to do:
Import all parents as free members
Have s2Member assign a password
Have those members receive an email notification of the password

Is this possible to do easily? Are there additional plugins that can help with this?

I'm working with Buddypress as well. The URL is http://community-montessori.org

As I understand it though, there isn't a way to email them their password upon import. Correct?

Yeah, it doesn't work that way. You have to email them with the instructions after the import.
