Authenticating SMTP for mail server

Postby sensei » August 1st, 2011, 11:09 am

Good Afternoon,

I am currently using the google post/page buttons to sell access to different pages of our site.

We are experiencing issues where clients are not receiving their e-mails after purchase. I believe we are seeing this since we are sending the message from another domain that our e-mail server resides on.

Is there a way to specify the e-mail server in which you want to send these e-mails from or is it preferred that you use an e-mail address associated with the domain that S2 is installed on?

Thanks!

I'm not very familiar with email configuration. I know that SMTP has come up in the past here. Let me know if this helps search.php?keywords=smtp&fid[]=4
