How to restrict access to certain plugins or themes

Postby webezy » August 12th, 2011, 8:10 pm

Hi,

I am new to s2member, I have searched for an answer on How I can only allow certain member levels to activate certain plugins or themes. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Thx

Hi webezy,

Are you talking about on WordPress Multisite?

In that case, this post may help you a bit.

Thx Ace, but it did not solve my problem. I think I should elaborate a bit.

I am currently using wpmudev's supporter plugin http://premium.wpmudev.org/project/supporter which has it's limitations, but I like the way you can select certain plugins or themes that are only available for paying subscribers to use.

So when a free subscriber looks at the plugins or themes listed they'll see a red "Pro members only" message and a link prompting them to upgrade.

I was wondering how one would do the same with s2member.

Sorry, I don't believe that's possible with s2Member.
