3 and 6 month subscriptions

Postby antseo » September 3rd, 2011, 12:11 am

two of my levels are restrictive to 3 month and 6 month. In the paypal button creation, how would I code for those AND after the term is over, will paypal payment stop? I didn't see a time interval in there which is why I'm asking.

You can create a button for monthly ongoing access and then edit the shortcode's rp attribute from 1 to 3 or 6. WP Admin -> s2Member -> PayPal Buttons -> Shortcode Attributes -> rp

One more question Cristian... so I change that rp tag from 1 to 3. now in paypal checkout it says:

$18.00 USD for the first month
Then $18.00 USD for each 3 months

if I'm charging a total of 3 months, then should i change that number from 3 to 2?

Ah, you're using the trial/initial amount too? If so, then that'd be the first month and then you charge another 2 with the recurring amount.

okay, so one last question on this... so when creating my levels, I have the following:

Level 0= free
Level1=monthly subscription
Level2=3 month subscription
Level3=6 month subscription
Level4=n/a

does that look correct?

Hmm... But they all have the same access level, right? Then just make them all buttons for Level 1, only each has a different payment plan.
