Redirecting Members away from the Default Profile Panel

Hi, this is probably a feature request, although I do not understand how it has never been mentioned before.

Under "Member Profile Modifications" there is a drop-down list to either use the default WP profile page or allow s2M to block and redirect to the Login Welcome Page.

Can we please have a 3rd option to redirect to a URL so that we can actually redirect to the page that contains the shortcode provided; [s2Member-Profile /] ?

I am not really certain why anyone would want to redirect a user trying to modify their profile to the welcome page rather than the page containing the shortcode.

I am sure you will enlighten me.


I guess in the meantime I will hack the other plugin's code but this will need doing every time they update.

Yes I quite agree that a 3rd option is agreeable with some setups. However, the general rule of thumb for the Login Welcome Page is that it is the Members Area in itself. This is probably why it has not been brought up before.

Anyway, that's just my 2 cents.
