Totally confused - Free vs Pro edition

I just read the whole FAQ and I am not sure I really understand.

We are a non-profit organization and we want to setup annual recurring subscriptions for all our members. I have setup a regular PayPal Business account to receive payments. I want to use S2Member to create a PayPal button to charge my member a small amount annually forever or until they decide to cancel. I understand that the free version can do that without problems. Yes?

Now, I would like to have access to some advance feature of the S2Member Pro version, like the import/export and also to contribute with my money to the development of this wonderful plugin. Will I have to upgrade my PayPal account to the PayPal Pro version which I cannot afford because the monthly fee is too expensive? Will I still be able to offer recurring payments?

I do understand that my members will have to either already own or create an account with PayPal, and I dont mind being redirected to the PayPal Website for completing the transaction. But, if I do get the s2Member Pro version with my regular PayPal Business account WITHOUT the Pro upgrade, will I have the option to still host the transaction within my Website instead of being redirected to PayPal?

Will the export option of the s2Member Pro version will also export the custom fields?
