When does the EOT get set?

Anyone have any ideas how EOT works?

It was my assumption that the EOT was set automatically by s2member contacting PayPal. So, I would be able to visit any user after they register and see the EOT. But it seems like most users do not have an EOT set. Was my initial assumption wrong? When does the EOT field get automatically set?

As it works now, it gets set when it's a buy now transaction, or if the subscription stops for some reason (cancellation, etc). If it's an active subscription, s2Member doesn't set an EOT time, because it doesn't know when the subscription ends.
