Manually Extend Users Trial Period?

Postby Podge » September 14th, 2011, 5:25 am

Hi Guys

We've recently launched a site using S2Member Pro and have had a few people already sign up with the promise of a 1 month free trial. As is always going to happen, there's been a few teething problems and as such we though it only fair to extend the trial period for our users by another month before they get charged.

Is there a way to extend this manually in either S2Member or Paypal? I''ve seen that I can manually enter a new EOT but I'm not sure if that will extend the trial, or charge them again?

Any help would be appreciated.

You can't do it from s2Member, they already have the subscription with you over at PayPal. You'd have to manage their subscriptions from PayPal, see if you're able to extend the trial or maybe refund them the 1st month after it gets charged.

I hope that helps.
