Wordpress users show up as members in Buddy Press

I added some users to the site to support an import for a blog. These users were plain old WordPress users, with no s2member Role defined. However, they are now showing up on the Members page in BuddyPress.

Is there a way to hide them completely, i.e., allow them to be users but not listed as members? They actually don't even need to be able to log in, so I wouldn't mind making them Inactive, but I couldn't find a way to do that either.

I don't know. If I understand correctly, BuddyPress being integrated with WordPress, will share the userbase. Maybe you should ask the BuddyPress guys about this. I hope it's not very complicated to do what you want and that they can hlep you.
