Can you help me with setup?

Hi,

I am trying to setup a membership site, with recurring subscriptions. Ideally I would like the sales page to have no wp formatting, such as sidebar, menus etc.

I have now purchased 2 different membership plugins and am not sure which is really the best to use. If I can use this with some type of plug in for the sales page, can someone let me know.

Right now, the setup I have is site.com, then site.com/membership. Should I just have all of it set up on site.com? Can that be accomplished without formatting the front page as a wp page?

I hope I am being clear, I have searched through the forum and watched the videos, but have not seen this addressed.

I'm not 100% sure what you're saying - but you should be able to set a tempate for the page you're wanting to be your sales page, so you can only have the stuff you want on it, like a squeeze page looks. If you want that to be your index page, you go to your wp admin menu, select settings>Reading and make the front page a static page, then select the page you made for your front page to be that page. You will have made that front page use the template you want - no formatting. That should do it.

The other questions I'm not so sure what you're asking. I'm not sure if it makes a huge difference where you protect your pages, as long as it's easy for your users to get where they need to go easily.
