Member Registration

My website went live yesterday and I have 20 people in the Members list but I only received 5 email notifications. I am using the free version. I want to know when anyone signs up for a free or paid account.
What am I missing?

I don't understand.

I now have 27 members and only received 2 emails telling me someone registered and I should have 7 emails.
How can something work only some of the time?

Do you have a system where the users have to confirm there membership and are failing to confirm?

If you are requiring confirmation, then you would only get a notice that you have a new member if they confirmed.

I have no idea how you have your site set up, but as an example, I have a website where many members pay, and then fail to complete the registration process. They continue to be members and pay each month and have never confirmed their membership.

I know I'm as guilty as anyone, but it's a never ending source of frustration when the subscriber gets in too much of a hurry to read the instructions.

That makes sense. This is the first setup I have done with this software so I am still learning. I don't believe I have it setup as needing to be confirmed. Thank you for your ideas.
