New Level 1 Purchases Say You have been updated

Postby jazzika » October 10th, 2011, 11:02 am

I am attempting to add a paypal button for Level 1 payment to my membership site. When doing so I only get the following email and the part to choose your own userid password never comes through. In addition these registrations are not showing up in my aweber account either.

Thank you! You've been updated to:

If I register a free membership the correct emails come through and the aweber account is successful.

So your problem is that the userid password email and the registrations aren't showing in your aweber account?

Well that is part of the problem. The first problem is that when someone registers they are given the message that their account has been updated. Then they never receive an email with login instructions into the site.

Well the fact that they receive the notice that their account has been updated is normal behaviour since they can save the email or something like that. I don't use Aweber so I couldn't tell you how to deactivate it, sorry :( .

If the account is being updated, then they already had an account. The login details are sent when a new account is created.

Am I not understanding your problem? Are these new accounts or existing ones that are upgrading to a higher level?

Have you configured your List Server integration to handle updates of this kind and move the user to a new list when changing to another level of membership? WP Admin -> s2Member -> API / List Servers -> Automate
