Postby netameta » November 9th, 2010, 4:28 am

Well i installed the plug in to try and see how it works
i set up everything
upgraded my PP to business account
Generated buttons.

when people click on the button it takes them to Paypal but they are been asked to input there Credit cards and dont have any option to pay via their paypal account.

I wonder how am i going to fix that and is it a known problem ?

Would really appreciate any help regarding the matter.

You Paypal button will bring visitors to one of two different pages, depending on whether you've set up a recurring charge or a one-time fee (and also provided you're allowing your customers to pay by debit/credit card via your paypal "website payment preferences" settings).

In the case you've set up a recurring charge, look at the section towards the top left-hand side of the page that says "choose a payment method". By default, this is set to "I need to create a paypal account". There should be a checkbox next to "PAYPAL - I already have a paypal account". Check this box and the credit card form will disappear and a paypal login form will open.

In the case you've set up a one-time fee, look at the section on the top right-hand side of the page that says "choose a payment method". By default, this is set to "pay with a debit or credit card". Right above that, there should be an option that says "pay with my paypal account". Click on this and the credit card form will disappear and a paypal login form will open.
