Using S2Member for hosting WP Network sites?

Hey all. I'm wanting to launch a WordPress multi-user/network site that allows users to sign up to get hosted pages using some of our premium plugins, etc for Facebook.

Has anyone used S2 for setting up that kin of membership? If so, any tips or tricks?

Yup, pretty much. I'd like to run a Network install that would allow people to sign up to have their own "site" on my base domain.

I have a Facebook WordPress plugin that lets you create fan pages from WordPress, and I'd like to offer a hosted solution so users can sign up and have access to creating fan pages without having to go through all the work of setting up SSL, their own domain, etc.

No, I don't think I need it for a blog farm, I just need to be able to run membership so that users can sign up to have a blog. Or is that the same?

Ok, I just set up a network install, and I think I may be able to pull this off. My question is this - can S2 be used to gate the user registration pages until a user has signed up, and then can it be used to add additional subscription charges for each sub-site the user creates?

I'd like to make sure this is possible before slapping down the big bucks for the network install. And speaking of, I've got S2 Pro - can I upgrade or do I need to do a full purchase of the network version?

I couldn't answer the first question since I don't use that version but I can answer the second one.

I don't think so, but you can use this coupon code (SAVE-10) that Jason gave to the forum (I can't guarantee it will work since it's pretty old).

Though I can't answer you I'm sure it will come in the documentation that comes with the package, remember it comes included in the price the service of someone else doing it.
