Compatibility wordpress 2.9 ?

I've been looking everywhere and was surprised not to find this information anywhere.

I'd like to try the s2Member (free) and if it works correctly, the s2Member pro.

I can't try the s2Member plugin because I'm using wordpress 2.9 and I can't find which is the latest version of the plugin that will work.

Anyone has any idea ? Which is the latest version of s2member I can use with wordpress 2.9 ?
