Can't login to WP

I set up S2 member with my wordpress site and now when I try to log in to WP I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_rtl() in /home/sportex1/public_html/wp-includes/general-template.php on line 2102

Is this an S2 or WP issue and how can I fix it ??????

What version of WordPress and s2Member do you have?

I just updated to the latest version of wordpress yesterday (don't know exact number because I can't get in) and I have the most recent free version of S2Member

Before updating, could you sign in with no problems?
Did you update or install anything else than WordPress?

yes. No problems signing in for over a year. I have been configuring S2 member with MailChimp and testing it. Yesterday, I uploaded the latest WP upgrade and I changed some of my pages (no coding---don't know how to) and logged out. When I tried to log in to WP this am, I couldn't and got the error code. I did go onto my webpage directly to test the S2member form and it is working (although I need to change some things). I found the page with php code (can't find the line) on my cpanel/host.

Issue was resolved by my web host provider. It was a plug in issue and the plug in was moved to a new file. Back to normal now.
