Hi Cristian,
I recently migrated s2 pro from one domain to another and am setting up CB integration.

I got the following error message below when I made a test purchase.

Any ideas what to do?

PS - I've emailed you the logs, CB secret key, CB API key and DEV key via email.

Thanks in advance
Jaison

Thanks for the link/thread Eduan, however, my issue is with Clickbank not Paypal. Also, I am using Safari on an iMac and all of my s2member/word press versions are up to date. So Unless there's a bug with wp 3.3 and s2member pro, I will see what Cristian has to say about the logs and my clickbank config.

It could very well be an error I made in the set up.

Cheers,
Jaison

From what I see in the files you emailed:

You seem to be missing your domain name from the custom attribute in your CB button's shortcode. WP Admin -> s2Member -> ClickBank Buttons -> Shortcode Attributes -> custom

You should upgrade to the latest version (111216) of s2Member and s2Member Pro, since it includes a fix for a bug related to the ClickBank integration. https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/s2 ... changelog/

I also noticed that in your upsell page over at yoursite.net you tried using the button shortcode, but if I understand it correctly you have s2Member installed in the .com. If you want to use the button elsewhere than the WordPress installation where you have s2Member you'll need to use the shortcode in the one with s2, log out from your account and visit the page with the button, copy the HTML for it and then use that in the other places. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16256#p56188

I hope that helps!

Hi Cristian, all of the pages have been migrated to .com and links have been updated. My domain is correctly displayed in the CB button custom shortcode attriubute. I've double, triple checked the CB config (api, dev and secret keys). Still getting the same error message from the CB test purchase.

If I had any hair left on my head, it'd be gone now!!

I sent you another email with more info.

It may be a server/host issue, but I want to make sure everything's in order on s2member's end before I contact Dreamhost.

Thanks again in advance!

Thanks for the heads up on this thread.

Let's take a look at your log files please. If you enable logging for ClickBank, under: s2Member -> ClickBank Options -> Account Details, you'll have more to go on. Once we see the log files: clickbank-ipn.log and clickbank-rtn.log, we can diagnose this for you. It sounds like you have the domain correct now. I would suspect an issue in post processing, which will show up in the log files.

The logging function has been enabled. I emailed the logs to Cristian earlier am today.

The logging folder only contained 3 files (htaccess, clickbank-rtn.log, paypal-rtn.log). There was no clickbank-ipn.log within the folder I downloaded via ftp.

Should that ipn.log be present?

Yes, you should have: clickbank-ipn.log, clickbank-rtn.log, paypal-ipn.log and paypal.rtn.log.

I just forwarded your emails to Jason so he can look at them.

I also just run a test purchase while logged out, checked out and got sent to the thank you page without an error, clicked the link to register and was allowed to the registration page correctly.

I haven't received the confirmation email yet, though. Would like to see the log entries for this transaction (NZ2FKXQE).

Hi Cristian,

This is good news about the test purchase success. I believe you can access the log entries for (NZ2FKXQE) via the ftp login I emailed you. FYI - I only seem to have the rtn logs NOT the ipns for either PayPal or Clickbank.

Also, let me know if you receive the confirmation email. I have never received one during any of my previous test purchases (on either .net or .com).

Thanks again for all of your assistance with this!!

Hey Jaison,

You may want to install the EMail Log plugin to see what emails s2Member is sending out. This could be helpful in diagnosing if the problem is on your end or on the receiving end (i.e., problems with the email servers in between). :)

Jaison, I looked at the entries and they look fine, although neither mentions having sent the confirmation email, and there were two log files missing. I already emailed Jason asking him about that.

I see you have several other plugins installed. I'm not saying they are the cause of the problem, but in the past it's been very helpful to deactivate them one by one and test after each to see if the problem went away with the last one.

I don't want to touch your plugins, I only logged in to see the ClickBank keys before and the plugins installed now. Could you test this? I'd start with the ones that have to do with email in any way.

Remember to log out of your admin account before each purchase. It's worked for me to have one browser logged in as the admin and another browser to purchase as a customer.

Let me know how it goes, please. :)
