User Registration with Mail Chimp

Howdy!

I need some reassurance:

I have Mail Chimp set up as a list server for the site I've developed. Once the user purchases services to the website via S2Member Pro through PayPal, will their email address automatically go into the list server on Mail Chimp? I am a little confused on this part. I want to make sure that this site is as automatic as possible with re-directs and completing the membership process.

I have content dripping set up through the site via S2Member as well as autoresponders in Mail Chimp. My goal is to have Mail Chimp send out an email on the first day that the user is registered (which I had previously configured) with a link in the email to log into the site with the first day of content that is available through content dripping. But my main concern is that the members email address is automatically going to be added to the mail chimp list server.

Any advice would be much appreciated!
