Editing Core Files

Postby Stephem » January 4th, 2012, 8:06 pm

Hey guys,

I've moved some s2Member paypal template files into my theme directory and made changes, making sure they are not overwritten with future updates. I was wondering how i could do this with includes such as sc-profile-in.inc.php?

I haven't tried it, but since it checks if the class exists before creating it, you could probably make a copy of the file and put it in the /wp-content/mu-plugins/ directory and edit that. It won't be updated when an improved version comes out in a future release, but it won't be overwritten either.

Let me know if that helps. :)

Thanks for the reply Cristian,

I did what you said and made a few changes and it seems to be working.
