Broke my HTTPS setup

I have S2Member Pro and I had a developer setup the HTTPS for me. A little while back, I tried installing Event Espresso (EE) and it also has an HTTPS arrangement using some plugin they created. In trying to configure that, I ran into a number of issues but for a few days it was all working. However, something I changed or did over the last couple of days ended in HTTPS not working for either S2Member or EE. So I disabled all of the EE stuff but now I can't get the S2Member forms working in HTTPS again. They start out that way, but at some point near the end of loading the page, they fail. I have the s2member_force_ssl set to yes on each page. How can I figure out what's keeping this from working?

I'd even be willing to pay someone to help with stabilizing a number of things on this site.

Can you explain "how" they fail? Do you get an error message? What's failing?
