[Solved][PHP Execution] Heavy reliance on such plugin, Why?

Hello, everyone:

I am just wondering why so many great advanced features must depend on the plugin of PHP Execution?
I have this question because that I have WP 3.3.1 and the plugin itself supports up-to only WP 2.8.

I also saw ppl use it and post that crash error when use it.

Can anyone tell me if the plugin still works for newer WP 3.3.1?
