Will customers still have access until cache cleared?

Hi all. Using 3.1 here, and I sell content pages. I have noticed when I test a specific post/page access link that, even after it has expired, I can still access my restricted pages (even when I am not logged into WP) unless I go ahead and clear my cache. Will this be the case for my customers? If the web page is stored in cache, will they still be able to get into the restricted content even after their access link has expired? Sure hoping not, but I am concerned.
