Unable to verify POST vars- basic question

hi there, getting this "Unable to verify POST vars". so i should disable cURL in php.ini (it´s on currently).
BUT how do i do that? i am not a profi programmer but that´s not necessary, is it???
server is windows i guess..host: strato.de . don´t see anywhere this php.ini file.

please help , thanks in advance

ask your hosting provider, they can probably help - or if you need the path, you can load a php file with phpinfo(); in it and it'll tell you the location of it.

this was resolved by switching hosts. I was unknowingly on a (client's) windows-based server that displayed as linux on phpinfo();

That host did not allow disabling cron... so switching hosts was mandatory
