Yep, same here. Well, sort of. My error message is a long list of the same thing:

looks like the site / user management still works fine.. it's just the rendering on the user's page (I hope)

Getting the same - but also seems to have dropped the dates and times for when none S* members have joined the site

I have the same issue though it does not seem to be uniform. I have one site showing the error (my live site) but my beta-test site (same S2Member code and 3.1 upgrade) does not show the error, weird

I've just upgraded and the issue of the error code generated on the User page seems to have been resolved.

However, further testing seems to suggest that previously protected pages and posts are now not working, pages that I have configured in Level 1 cannot be seen by users with Level 1 access (I don;t have multiple levels, just paid or not paid). In addition a few page/post ids seem to have been corrupted. I have no idea how this happened but it is a major pain.

Deleting the pages and posts and recreating them seems to have solved the problem but this is VERY concerning.

My site is brand new and only has minimal content. If you have a large site make sure you have a good backup before upgrading to the latest patch and then TEST EVERYTHING.

Seems very poor customer service to release a patch with such basic flaws in.

Just upgraded because of problems encountered with WP 3.1 and the upgrade crashed my site. I get this error message in the WP Admin screen:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function ws_plugin__s2member_trim_deep() in /home6/schoolbr/public_html/wp-content/plugins/s2member-pro/includes/functions/separates/upgrade.inc.php on line 41

after reading all these post, the only fix offered is to upgrade...which is sad because i need to use this version cause the next version breaks other stuff that i need.
question is if anyone knows why its broke?

Greg, WP 3.1 had many things changed, which required s2Member to be changed a lot too so they work together. If you want to use the latest version of either one, you'll have to update the other. What versions are you using for WP and s2Member? and what things break for you if you update to the latest of each?
