Subscription buttons on multiple pages?

Hi,

In the s2member setup options, we have to choose a Membership Options page where we will have our sign-up options with PayPal Subscription buttons. I'm wondering, though...

Is there any reason I can't insert the shortcode for a PayPal button for a particular "product" (membership class) on a landing page just for that product? Or would I need to redirect someone from that landing page to the selected Membership Options page in order for them to sign up? (I'd rather eliminate that extra click if possible).

Definitely, you can have the button anywhere you'd like to: a landing page, sales page, upsell page, thank you page, etc.

The membership options page is like a default place to redirect users that try to open any protected many in your website, but you don't have to use it if you don't prefer it.

What you can do to protect a page in a way that the person won't be redirected, is use PHP conditionals in the body of the page, but not protect the whole page in the editing form with the s2Member dropdown menus.

That way people will arrive to a protected page but not be taken away from it and you can show them a message with the button to buy access, while those already with it will just view the content they payed for.
