Yeah, I really loved the potential of this plugin when I found it.
s2Member Pro v1.3.2 is available for download as soon as you get the license. No, version numbers are not the same, right now s2Member is 3.5.4 and Pro 1.5.4.
I understand you prefer not sorting out the error problem, but this would mean you'd be stuck at an earlier release for who knows how long, not just s2Member but also WordPress, and that could be an issue in the long run.

One tip Jason gave me: after upgrading to S2 3.5.2 via FTP, I still was getting an error. Jason attributed it to an old file in the S2 folder. He told me to delete the S2 folder and the S2Pro folder and then reinstall the latest release. That did the trick and my site is error free now!
