Trailing shortcode at end of post

Postby enquirer62 » April 2nd, 2011, 2:47 am

I've got a couple of trailing shortcodes which are visible to the reader at the end of a protected post e.g.

/_s2If]

[/s2If]

Any ideas how I might get rid of these or what might be causing them? Someone suggested they were caused by another plugin.

It looks like they don't have a matching opening tag.

Could you please share what you have in that page? viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2780

Best would be if I could give you access to the story. How would I do that using S2 (not Pro)? By the way I'm using the Multi-Page Toolkit plugin on this post (it is very long) maybe that has something to do with it?

That could be it. Try disabling that plugin and see if that solves your problem.

So I went to the edit page of this post and copied the source code for the whole thing and saved it to an html file. I checked this with TagCheck and there were no errors. I disabled the MPT and another one and still no luck. At the moment the page is protected with your plugin so you wouldn't be able to see the code. I could send it to you?

My workaround: I've made the offending tags the same colour as the background
