When you say it doesn't show up in the dashboard, do you mean that it doesn't show up in the left column at the bottom, in the list of plugins, or both?
If it shows up in the list of plug-ins and does not show up in the left column, then try activating it.
If it does not show up in either location, does wp-content/plugins show a zip file or the unzipped individual s2 folders?
If it appears as a zip file, then it needs to be unzipped to that location.
If they are unzipped, try logging out and then logging back in.
Also, s2M Pro simply adds features to the default install of s2. A separate area for s2M Pro will not appear, but the default install will have additional selections that become available.
